"We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking
we used when we created them"

I completed my first PADI course at the age of 14 in the UK, which was not the best of fun in the winter but I persevered for a good reason. I became a PADI professional at the age of 19 whilst working in Australia prior to going to university. During my Bsc I took a module in The Physics of diving and the Underwater Environment. This was based around our HSE Commercial Diver part 4 and all the prerequisites that this required. I eventually started my instructor training at 23 but stopped as the contracts I wanted to get with the certification I managed to get with the Assistant Instructor rating instead. I have currently logged over 600 dives covering the Caribbean, Atlantic, Red sea and the Indian and Pacific oceans. Encountering most diving conditions that exist, ranging form the strong drift dives in the Philippines and Maldives to the reduced visibility of the United kingdom.
